Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of Dominica- Dr Roosevelt Skerrit is all set deliver his remarks at the two-day regional Symposium on “Violence as a Public Health Issue – The Crime Challenge” in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

The Symposium seeks to promote dialogue and action at the regional level to reduce violence and prevent crime. He expressed pleasure and said that he is slated to formally address the forum during the morning session on Tuesday.
A 2-day Regional Symposium: Violence as a Public Health Issue – the Crime Challenge is on from today, April 17, to April 18. The Symposium was hosted by the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley and will be attended by CARICOM Heads of Government.
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and Lead Head with responsibility for Crime and Security delivered an address on day one of the Regional Symposium: Violence as a Public Health Issue – The Crime Challenge held at the Hyatt Regency, Trinidad, today (Monday, April 17, 2023).
Various regional leaders such as the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia- Philip J Pierre, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis- Dr Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of Grenada– Dickon Mitchell, Prime Minister of Jamaica- Andrew Holness, and Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines- Ralph Gonsalves have also attended the Symposium.
