St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis- Dr Terrance Drew, shared glimpses of the Luncheon held at Buckingham Palace on May 5, 2023 ahead of the Coronation of King Charles III.
The Luchaeon was attended by overseas representatives across the globe. PM Terrance Drew took to Facebook and shared glimpses of the Luncheon. He also held meeting with the dignitaries and talked with them on various matters of concern.
Significant talks were held between a number of delegations that attended the Coronation of King Charles III. PM Drew added, “Ahead of the historic Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday, May 6 in London, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, attended His Majesty the King’s Luncheon for overseas representatives at Buckingham Palace where he met and held an important dialogue with a number of dignitaries from other countries around the world.”
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew is heading a local delegation to the Coronation Ceremony. The delegation includes the Governor-General, Her Excellency Dame Marcella A. Liburd GCMG, JP; Deputy Governor-General (Nevis), Hyleeta Liburd M.H.; Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas; and Protocol Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thouvia France, Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley; Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, Naeemah Hazelle; Diaspora Ambassador Christine Walwyn;
The Coronation Ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey, London.
Earlier, PM Terrance Drew shared an update on his travelling to London and stated that he travelled to London in preparation for the historic Coronation of Majesty King Charles III, which will take place on Saturday, May 6 2023.
King Charles’ Coronation procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey where King Charles will be crowned in a ceremony is filled with the traditional pageantry used for anointing monarchs over the last 1,000 years.
