St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew shared glimpses of the matches of the Labour Day Parade and extended greetings on the occasion. He also vowed to improve the socio-economic conditions of the people of St Kitts and Nevis.
PM Terrance Drew took to Facebook to share snapshots of the parade and committed to continue work for the improvement of the socio-economic conditions of the people of St Kitts and Nevis. Outlining his agenda, PM Drew said that their prime agenda would be to extend efficient support to the workers of the country.
He stated,” Today we were outside again, and it felt great on the occasion of Labour Day in support of our nation’s workers. Your caring government continues to keep at work with the aim of improving the socio-economic conditions of our people.”
PM Terrance Drew while promising said that on topic, increasing the minimum wage is on the agenda as we aim to close the almost decade gap with the last for such happening under the St Kitts-Nevis Labour Party administration in 2014. Recently, in the joint meeting of Constituency 1 and Constituency 8, PM Drew also raised several concerns of the workers and stressed increasing their minimum wages.
Recently, St Kitts and Nevis also hosted “Miss Labour Queen Pagent” in which eight contestants participated. PM Terrance Drew took extended greetings to the winner and wished. He said,” Join me in extending Congratulations to all eight contestants who participated in the MISS LABOUR QUEEN PAGEANT. You all did very well and should be proud.”
He also extended congratulations to The Reigning Miss Labour, Queen Cyanna Johnson of Constituency #8. You did us proud and brought the crown home. PM Drew also wishes to congratulate the First Runner Up, Ashley Wilson of C5, Second Runner Up, Zarina Roberts of ‘C1, and Third Runner Up, Junecia Williams of C3.
