St Kitts and Nevis: The work on the Newtown Playing Field of St Kitts and Nevis has commenced. Deputy Prime Minister Geoffrey Hanley expressed pleasure in working for the upliftment of its people.
He said, “Your SKNLP Government understands the needs of its people and continues to learn how best to execute on the many initiatives we are committed to and engineer new projects to help propel our people to exceptional heights in all sectors of nation building.”
Geoffrey Hanley extended gratitude to many team players, including Samal Duggins. He said that they are thankful to the many team players who have contributed to this important project, including Samal Duggins, Minister of Sports, Creative Economy, et al.
“We will continue to listen to your concerns and suggestions on plans and projects initiated for the benefit of all. We continue to be your A-Team Government in service to all for the good that we can do,”said the minister.
As the media tour progresses, Samal Duggins said that he is thrilled to share the exciting developments at The Newtown Playing Field, home to one of our premier league teams.
The Newtown Playing Field is a key component of their vision, and these upcoming improvements are just the beginning. The government isintently focused on the safety and comfort of the spectators.
They have identified the worn-out roof as a safety hazard and, within the next few weeks, we will begin the project to replace it. Additionally, the old wooden benches will be replaced with modern and durable aluminum benches, offering an enhanced viewing experience.
“To further improve the facility, we will replace the windows for better ventilation and aesthetics. Our commitment to excellence remains unwavering. We are dedicated to ensuring that all our sporting facilities are in the best condition, creating an environment where athletes can shine and spectators can enjoy the matches to the fullest, “said the minister.
