The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Thursday has made an announcement that it will begin the election campaign in Balochistan with a rally in connection with 56th Foundation Day of the party, which is on November 30.
It is to be noted that, the announcement about the above mentioned has been made by the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari following the meeting with the party officials at Bilawal House. During the meeting, they held discussion on the prospects of the party, along with the potential candidates as well as the areas of focus during the upcoming elections.
During the meeting, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari also asked the leaders of the party in Balochistan leaders of the party to mobilize workers, start preparations for the polls and come up with a firm and complete strategy for the election campaign.
Notably, the members of the party have also extended hope that the PPP was also expecting some key leaders from Balochistan to join before November 30 rally and the event could also be used as a platform to announce their political decision before the elections.
As per the statement, “Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has also issued directives for Balochistan workers and supporters to start their preparations for the February 8 polls. The meeting also made a decision to stage a foundation day rally on November 30 in Quetta.
Moreover, the party also sounds confident as after the statements made by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari came mentioning about addressing the problems of Balochistan. Noting to which, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that, “If any party has done anything practically to address problems of Balochistan, it is the PPP.”
Adding further on this, PPP Chairman said that, “Whether it is economic corridors under the CPEC or Aghaz-i-Haqooq-i-Balochistan (the beginning of the rights of Balochistan), it is always the PPP which has valued Balochistan and its geographical position in the region.”
Along with this, he also held discussions with the party officials in Balochistan and also asked them about their suggestions for the rally ahead.
