The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, on Thursday has taken part in the ceremony that has taken place at the Radio Pakistan Peshawar. It is to be noted that PM Sharif has also made address during the occasion of his visit to the Radio Pakistan Peshawar.
Considerably, during the address, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif has directed the Radio Pakistan Peshawar to step up the immediate work for the restoration of the historic building which was destroyed as well as burnt by the evil elements. It is to be mentioned that the building was destroyed and burnt during the national protests against the arrest of PTI Chief Imran Khan on 9th and 10th May.
Notably, during the visit to Peshawar, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was accompanied by the Information Minister of Pakistan Maryam and Nagzeb, along with the Federal Ministers, Governor and Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Director General Radio Pakistan along with the other official were also present during the occasion.
While on the visit, PM Sharif has also made the public address condemning the destruction which was led by the violent mob by smashing up the government infrastructure or either by blocking roads. PM Sharif has also highlighted that the violent mob has tried to disrupt the public channels as well.
At the same time, PM Sharif has also expressed deep sorrow as well as regret over the loss of the historical along with the valuable records which were completely destroyed by the violent mob.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister also announced to pay minimum salaries for Radio Pakistan employees for two months.
At the launch of the ceremony, DG Radio Pakistan Tahir Hassan briefed the Prime Minister on the attacks and damages occurred on Radio Pakistan Peshawar building on 9th and 10th May by the aggressive mob.
Noting to which, PM Sharif has also ensured to enforce peace and security within nation.
