The Pakistani security forces, in an intelligence based operation in Dera Ismail Khan, has gunned down a terrorist. The information about the above mentioned has been shared by the media affairs wing of the military on Tuesday.
While sharing the statement on the above mentioned incident, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), said that, “An intense exchange of fire has taken place between the security forces and terrorists during the operation. Result of which, a terrorist Muhammad Sohail was sent to hell.”
According to the information shared by the ISPR, the dead terrorist was part of the number of terrorists activities and incidents that took place against the law enforcement agencies along with the target killings of the innocent civilians.
The details added that, “A sanitization operation is being conducted to gun down number of other terrorists found in the area.”
Meanwhile, the encounter between the security forces and terrorists has bring a sigh of relief for the locals, as they were expressing their anger against the security forces for showing negligence towards the growing rate of the crime.
Not just limited to this, the locals of the area have also appreciated the operation and extended their support to finish the growing terrorism in the state.
It is to be noted that, the entire state of Pakistan has seen surge in the number of terror activities from the last year. And the areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan were flashed as the main areas to witness the number of terror incidents.
During the most of the incidents reported, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan were remained as the most affected centers of violence. Notably, during the last year 2023 alone, Pakistan has seen almost 1,524 violence related fatalities and 1,463 injuries from around 789 terror attacks and the counter-terror operations, which marked as the six-year high.
