The Chief of the Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Pakistan (JUI), Maulana Fazlur Rehman held meeting with the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Muhammad Hasan Akhund.
The visit of JUI chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, to Afghanistan was mainly to remove the understandings found in the ties between both the nations. Adding to which, JUI chief, Maulana Fazlur said that, “We have brought a message of goodwill here and hope that this trip will yield positive results.”
Noting to which, Mullah Muhammad Hasan Akhund ensured JUI chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman that, “Afghanistan and Pakistan are two countries that have many commonalities in different fields, so one cannot be separated from the other.”

“The Islamic Emirate does not intend to harm or create problems for any neighboring country, including Afghanistan,” said Mullah Muhammad Hasan.
The talks moved further to find the ways of cooperation between both the nations in the political, economy, trade and mutual development.
During the talks, PM Mullah Muhammad Hasan, mentioned about the attitude of Pakistani authorities towards Afghan refugees. For which, he said that, “Pakistani authorities should stop their cruel behavior towards Afghan refugees because this type of behavior does not solve problems but increases opposition and frustration.”
Noting to this, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, also stated that, “JUI has raised a voice of protest against the attitude of the rulers of Pakistan towards the Afghan refugees. We consider this kind of behavior wrong and a cause of problems between the two countries.”
Moreover, it was also added in the meeting that the two nations should jointly look for the ways to solve all the problems and should avoid any steps that create anymore problems.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman was accompanied by Maulana Abdul Wasi, Maulana Salahuddin, Maulana Kamaluddin, Maulana Jamaluddin, Maulana Salimuddin Shamzai, Maulana Imdadullah, Maulana Idris, Dr. Atiqur Rehman, Mufti Abrar.
During the meeting, PM Mullah Muhammad Hasan, added that, “We hope that the visit will lead to the strengthening of brotherhood and positive relations between the two neighboring countries and brotherly people.”
