The President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi, has extended condolences over the demise of the former Premier of China, Li Keqiang. It is to be noted that, President Alvi took it to his official social media handle to extend the grief over the passing away of former Chinese Premier.
While expressing the grief over the loss of former Chinese Premier, Li Keqiang, President Alvi noted that, “I am deeply grieved to hear about the passing away of the former Chinese Premier, Le Keqiang.”
It is to be added that, President Alvi, while emphasizing upon the ties shared by Pakistan and China, said that, “Pakistan today has lost a great friend who was strong advocate and supporter of Pakistan-China economic and strategic relations.”
Along with this, President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi, also penned note on former Chinese Premier, Li Keqiang, adding that, “Li Keqiang was a visionary leader and I express my condolences on behalf of the people of Pakistan to his family, the Chinese people and its leadership in this hour of grief. During my solidarity visit to China in March 2020, I had the honor to meet him at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.”
While mentioning on the above, President Arif Alvi, said that, “I found him a sincere friend and he was enthusiastic to further cement our All-Weather Friendship.”
At the same time, the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar ul Haq Kakar, has also extended shock over the passing away of former Chinese Premier, Li Keqiang. Expressing the grief, PM Kakar, said that, “Deeply saddened and shocked to learn about the sad demise of former Chinese Premier Li Keqiang. He was a great friend of Pakistan. We fondly remember his visit to Pakistan in 2013. Our thoughts and sympathies are with Late Premier Li, his family and with the Chinese nation at this hour of grief.”
