The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo, Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday has made promise to Balochistan, where he mentioned about working on development after coming to power. During this, he said that, the PML-N believes in doing the practical work instead of merely paying lip service.
Amidst of the completion of his two day visit to the province, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, while addressing the worker’s convention, added about the number of achievements that were made by the government under PML-N and also levelled allegations against the PTI government of Imran Khan for making delay in his initiatives.
While making the allegations against the PTI Chief Imran Khan, Former PM Sharif said that, “The man was given responsibility of the nation with the slogan of Naya Pakistan(New Pakistan), but he has failed to do so and even his government halted the projects which were started by the PML-N government for the welfare of the nation.”
During the two day visit to the province, Former PM Sharif said that, “We just don’t want to come to the power for ourselves but want to resolve the issue of the people who suffered a lot during the past four years (mainly during the rule of the PTI-Imran Khan led government), which has reached success in destroying number of fields and promoted hate, filthy language and disrespect in the society.”
At the same time, he alleged that, “The construction work for connecting Quetta with the capital city of Islamabad via Dera Ismail Khan was scheduled to end in 2018, but the PTI-led government halted the work on this project, causing a huge loss to Pakistan and the people of Balochistan.”
Alongside, Former PM Nawaz Sharif also promised to implement the solar panel scheme, in case if his party come to power. Considering which, he said that, “This scheme will provide the domestic, commercial and agriculture consumers a sigh of relief from the rising prices of electricity.”
Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz, who was also joining his father during the visit to the province, also addressed the major concerns, mainly talking about the common issues, related to the development across Balochistan.
Noting to which, she said that, “The PML-N government will give full attention towards the development of Balochistan and bring it on par with the Punjab. We also believe that the entire condition of Balochistan will be changed in three to four years through the policies and attention of our government.”
