The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, on Thursday held meeting with the party officials. During the meeting, the party members held discussions on several ongoing issues including the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden.
It is to be noted that, during the meeting, the party official have finalized the decision to celebrate Holy Qur’an Day on July 7, calling a joint session of the Parliament against the incident took place in Sweden and nationwide protest.
Noting to the key subjects during the meeting, PM Shehbaz Sharif said that, “The entire nation, including all the political parties, should take part in the protests and become one language to give message to the evil minds. Honoring the Holy Quran is part of our faith, for that we are all one. On Friday, protest rallies should be held across the nation to condemn the incident taken place in Sweden.”
At the same time, PM Sharif, during the meeting, said that, “A national action plan should be drawn up on the Sweden incident in the joint session of the Parliament. The sentiments and feelings of the nation should be fully expressed through the forum of Parliament and a joint resolution should be passed in the joint session.”
As per the details, while emphasizing on the international community, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, said that, “misguided minds are following a nefarious agenda by spreading the negative trend of Islamophobia. Peace-loving, co-existing nations and leaders around the world should stand in the way of Islamophobic and religiously motivated violent forces.”
Along with this, PM Sharif said that, “Violent minds targeting religion, holy persons, beliefs and ideas are a threat to world peace. The forces that believe in peaceful, balanced and interfaith harmony at the global level should work together to remedy such trends and incidents.”
