Pakistan’s former and current Prime Ministers acknowledge and appreciate the development aid of Prince Karim Aga Khan as they send out congratulatory messages on his 86th birthday.
Shahbez Sharif, the current Prime Minister and Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, have acknowledged and thanked the Ismailis’ present Imam and spiritual leader for his development support to Pakistan as they both have tweeted birthday wishes.
“Greetings on the birthday of Prince Karim Aga Khan IV. We recognise his outstanding contributions to the cause of development in in Pakistan and around the world, and we will always be grateful”, Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, tweeted on Tuesday.

Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf political party and former Prime Minister of Pakistan, has also tweeted a congratulatory message thanking His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan IV for his contribution to the socio-economic developments in Pakistan.
This comes as today, on December 13th, Ismailis around the world celebrated the 86th birthday of their present Imam and spiritual leader, Prince Karim Aga Khan, throughout the world through their social and cultural institutions.
Prince Karim Aga Khan IV is a philanthropist, businessman, and spiritual leader of the Ismaili Muslims, the largest Shia sub-sect. He is the 49th Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims and a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad.
Aga Khan is a well-known figure around the world and is best known for his dedication to improving the life quality for millions of people in the developing world. He is the originator of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), an international network of development organisations with a mission to improve the quality of life for people living in the developing world.
