The Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar ul Haq Kakar held meeting the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, on the sidelines of the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit in the capital city of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
It is to be noted that the details about the meeting between Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar ul Haq Kakar, and the Malaysian Prime Minister, Ibrahim has been shared by the PMO Pakistan via his official social media handle. Along with this, he also shared the glimpses of the meeting.
During the meeting, the leaders of both the nations have held talks on the major subjects of concern, including bolstering of the bilateral relations between both the nations. The Prime Minister of Pakistan recalled the strong condemnation of Pakistan on the ongoing brutal campaign by Israeli forces against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Amidst of the talks, the leaders of both the nations have put their focus on the urgency of galvanizing efforts for the ongoing Israeli brutalities that had resulted in huge loss of precious lives and the forced displacement.
Prime Minister Kakar and Prime Minister Ibrahim also reviewed Pakistan-Malaysia bilateral relations with special focus on strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries. Prime Minister Kakar briefed his Malaysian counterpart on the establishment of Special Investment Facilitation Council, which worked on the whole of government approach to facilitate foreign investments in the country and ensuring ease of doing business.
The two leaders also highlighted the revitalization of the Joint Ministerial Commission, collaboration in the vocational training sector and export of manpower as key areas for further cooperation.
It is to be added that the meeting between both the leaders have taken place on the outskirts of the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit in the capital city of Riyadh. During the meeting, Muslim countries made a common call for an immediate end to military operations in Gaza, rejecting the Israel’s justification of its actions against Palestinians as self-defense.
