The minister of foreign affairs of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, held a meeting with the resident ambassador of Ethiopia, Jamal Bakar Abdullah, in Pakistan on 24 November. The Pakistani foreign minister welcomes and congratulates the Ethiopian ambassador for opening their embassy in Pakistan.
Bilawal Bhutto said that, “they welcome the diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Ethiopia with open arms as a nation. The partnership and launch of direct flights of Pakistan’s national airline PIA with Ethiopian Airlines are also welcome in the agreement.”
The Pakistan embassy was set up in Ethiopia long before during the serving period of Bilawal Bhutto’s grandfather Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. Both nations have been sharing good ties with each other for a long time, and now the Ethiopian government has decided to open its embassy in Pakistan, which is considered another step towards strengthening their diplomatic relations.
During the meeting of both officials in Pakistan, the Ethiopian ambassador expressed profound gratitude to the Pakistani government and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for assisting them in opening the embassy.
