The hand grenade attack carried out by the unidentified armed individuals in the Mach town of Bolan district on Saturday evening has claimed two lives. It is to be added that, those died during the incidents, were two young boys.
Following the incident reported, local police rushed to the spot and launched the probe against those involved in this attack. According to the details shared by the police officials, “Unknown motorcyclists tossed a grenade in Mach’s main bazaar, causing it to explode in front of a shop. One child was killed instantly, while the other sustained injuries.”
Responding to the incident, the police team transported the bodies of the injured boy and deceased boy to the Mach hospital.
Afte the initial treatment, the injured boy was transferred to the Quetta civil hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries. The victims were identified as Babar Ali and Mir Ahmed. Their bodies were handed over to their families following the medical and legal formalities.
It is to be added that, the grenade explosion also resulted in the damage to some of the shops. In response to this, the security forces cordoned off the area and begin the search operation in the Mach to arrest those behind this barbaric attack.
Along with this, on the Sunday evening, a body of a man, bearing the bullet injuries, was recovered in the Naal area of the Khuzdar district. Residents reported the unattended body to the authorities. The police reached the spot and took the body into custody.
The body was spotted near to the CPEC Road in the Washuk Naag Girand area. After the retrieval, the body was transported to Khuzdar teaching hospital, where post-mortem was conducted. It was later handed over to the family of the deceased.
The victim, identified as Ghous Bakhsh from Mach area in Bolan district, had multiple bullet wounds across his body, according to doctors. The police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s killing and the subsequent dumping of his body.
