Ministry of Sustainable & Development in St Kitts and Nevis will organis a Land Matters Fair 2023 at Balden Commercial Development’s Parking Lot to resolve various land-related issues, which include land allocations, distributions and Normalisation of lands. This 2-day fair will start on February 9, 2023, and end on February 10, 2023. The fair is the first step taken by the newly elected Dr Joyelle Calrke-led government for the betterment of the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis.
The government of St Kitts and Nevis invited people to attend the fair and get solutions to the problems they are facing related to their lands. People have been informed to meet the workers at the venue who are related to this field, and they should also carry their land documents for 2022 (if applicable) along with them so that they should get the solution as soon as possible. This fair may reduce the stress of the citizens who are facing various land issues like exchanging and buying.
The agencies that will be present at the venue to review the land issues of various people are:
-NHC
-Treasury
-Lands & Survey
-Physical Planning
-Urban Planning
-Development Control &
-Planning Board
-Sustainable Land
-Management Unit
It is especially informed that if anyone has a land letter they can bring, they will be given the solution accordingly if anyone wants the land for various purposes, which involves farming and building houses, so they should attend the fair and can apply for the land.
Moreover, if they want to exchange their land, it will be solved, and if the people have the required documents, the work will be fastened.
