Castries, Saint Lucia: The Government of Saint Lucia shared the update on the new retail prices of the fuel products, which have taken into effect from Monday, March 13, 2023. The new adjustments of the prices stated that LPG 100 lb cylinders will cost less to the citizens.
The Government of Saint Lucia added that while keeping the international oil prices in mind, they have taken these decisions and announced the Government’s application of the modified market pass-through petroleum pricing mechanism.
The 100 lb cylinder will cost less, on the other hand, the retail prices of the fuel products such as Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene, LPG 20 and 22 lb cylinder remains unchanged.
- The retail price of GASOLINE will remain unchanged and the price is $3.74 per litre or $17.00 per gallon.
- The retail price of Kerosene will also remain unchanged and the price is $2.97 per litre or $13.51 per gallon.
- The retail price of Diesel will remain unchanged and the price is $3.74 per litre or $17.00 per gallon
- The price of the 20 lb Cylinder (9.07 kg) will be changed and the new retail price is $17.54 per cylinder. On the other hand, the retail price of the 22 lb Cylinder (9.98kg) is being subsidized at $19.30 per cylinder.
- The retail price of the 20 Pound Cylinder (9.07 kg) remains unchanged at$43.27 per cylinder
- The retail price of the 22 Pound Cylinder (9.98 kg) remains unchanged at $47.60 per cylinder
- The retail price of the 100 Pound Cylinder (45.36kg) decreased from $336.13 to $304.06 per cylinder.
The Government of Saint Lucia stated that the public is informed that the next adjustment of the retail price of fuel products will be announced on Monday, April 3, 2023.
