“We are closely following the worrying situation in Sudan,” was the message shared by the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday. The message from Foreign Minister Bhutto came following the recent news of uptick in crisis across the territories of Sudan.
It is to be noted that the crisis continues to extend its roots in other parts of Sudan as well. Noting to which, almost all of the nations are considering to take measures to help their nationals residing in and across the towns of Khartoum and other parts of Sudan.
Notably, Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, also took it to his official social media handle to share the information about the following, adding that, “We are closely following the worrying situation in Sudan. The safety & security of Pakistanis living in the country remains our top priority.”
He further added that, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan is in continuous talks with the Pakistan Embassy in the capital city of Khartoum to extend help to the people of Pakistan across the nation. Referring to which, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari added that, “Pakistan Embassy in Khartoum is in constant touch with Pakistanis in Sudan.”
He, along with this, has also made directions to the Ambassador of Pakistan to Sudan to extend help to the Pakistanis over there, adding that, “I’ve directed the Ambssador to extend every possible help to all those in need.”

The Sudan Conflict is an ongoing armed battle between the rival factions of the army government of Sudan. It started on April 15, 2023, when clashes broke out across the nation, specifically around the capital city of Khartoum and the Darfur region. As of April 20, almost 330 people have been killed, and almost 3,200 people have been wounded.
It is to be mentioned that from the time since war erupted, airstrikes, artillery and heavy gunfire were reported across Sudan including in the capital city of Khartoum as well.
