The President of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) and the Former President, Asif Ali Zardari has ensured the public that the promises made by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari under manifesto will be fulfilled.
Mentioning about this, Chairman Asif Ali Zardari said that, “No one can say that Zardari made a promise, but then failed to fulfill it. Alhamdullilah, I have fulfilled the promises I made. Pakistan is not a poor nation but a nation rich in resources.”
The above-mentioned statement was made by Former President Zardari, while addressing the gathering on the 16th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. During the address, he said that, “The problem is not in Quetta, Hyderabad, Karachi, Lahore or Peshawar, but the problem is in Islamabad. The thinking of people sitting in Islamabad is limited, they don’t see what is happening to poor and how does hungry man sleep?”
He further continued that, “the politicians can see the problems faced by the poor. Because our workers hold us accountable. They ask us deliver. We have made promises to deliver to them.”
Former President Zardari reassured that he has always kept his promises, adding that, he always struggled keeping Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s and Shaheed Bhutto’s mission alive. He said that, “All the projects I inaugurated during my presidency, I didn’t inaugurate in my name but in Bibi Sahiba’s name. Because it was their power, their thinking, their people and their votes, that made me the President.”
“Our only aim is that people get their due rights. People get water, grains. Lining (of canals) and dams are built. Tharparkar become green, all of Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan get water for irrigation, and trade can be done with China from Gilgit-Baltistan. All these things will be included in our manifesto. Next time we will get done all these tasks,” concluded President Asif Ali Zardari.
