The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif has extended wishes to the people of the nation on the occasion of Islamic new year which is 1445 AH. PM Sharif took it to his official social media handle to share the wishes among the people of Pakistan.
In the wishes, PM Sharif extended that, “This new year will prove to be a year of peace, progress and prosperity for Pakistan and the world of Islam. I also pray that in this new year, wherever Muslims are suffering in the whole world, may Allah, create innumerable eases for them. May the darkness of the oppression be removed from the people of Palestine and may the dawn of peace and harmony illuminate the lives of Muslim brothers and sisters with the progress and prosperity.”
While elaborating on this, PM Sharif also mentioned about how family of Prophet sacrificed their lives, adding that, “The new Islam year also brings to mind those bitter moments in history when the family of the Prophet sacrificed their lives under the leadership of Hazrat Imam Hussain and became immortals in the battle of right and wrong.”
“Sayyiduna Imam Hussain (RA) and his martyred companions made eternal sacrifices to uphold the principles of truth and justice. His unwavering belief against oppression and tyranny is an everlasting example of courage, sacrifice and dedication,” says PM Sharif.
He added that these events always reminds the values of compassion, justice and unity that are central to faith and also teaches to stand up against injustice and oppression and work for a society where peace, harmony and mutuality exists.
At the same time, PM Sharif also encouraged people to take pledge to always strive to emulate the noble qualities that were established by Prophet Muhammad and his companions. He asked everyone to promote tolerance, understanding and respect for each other regardless of differences.
He further added that, “I also pray that this new year brings blessings, peace and prosperity to every home in Pakistan and that we overcome our differences and unite as one nation and work for the bright future of our beloved country.”
