The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, has extended welcome to the delegation from Saudi Arabia led by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Waleed Abdul Karim Al Khairji. It is to be noted that, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took it to his official social media handle to share the update among the general audience.
After receiving special delegation led by Deputy Minister Al Khairji, Prime Minister Sharif also held meeting with the members and held talks on major topics of concern.
It is to be specifically mentioned that, the delegation included the Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs along with the members of the Saudi Ministries of Energy, Health, Environment and Agriculture, Industry and Mineral Resources and Investment.
While welcoming the delegation of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Pakistan leader Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the positive trend of bilateral ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister has not just congratulated the Saudi leadership, but also extended gratitude towards Saudi Arabia for the timely financial help to Pakistan during the floods. Alongside, Prime Minister Sharif has also appreciated the role played by Saudi Arabia in assisting Pakistan in its efforts for achieving the macroeconomic stability in the nation.
At the same time, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif has also extended invitation to the government of Saudi Arabia and the companies around to take the advantage of the investment opportunities in agriculture, mining, IT, energy and other sectors.
Along with this, he also said that, “The establishment of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) will facilitate and speed up the potential investment of the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
In this regard, the Prime Minister appreciated the serious interest of the kingdom in finding investment opportunities in Pakistan.
