The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, on Friday, has inaugurated the Green Line train service from Islamabad to Karachi. Following the inauguration, PM Sharif has also addressed adding that, “the Green Line, which was founded in the previous era of Nawaz Sharif, and unfortunately, like countless other projects, this project also died in the last government.
He added that, “We want to relaunch this service. But we thank Allah and congratulate the Minister of Railways and the Chinese companies. Just inspected the bogies, they are equipped with modern facilities, Railway Minister believes in outsourcing and this is the ladder of development nowadays, it will improve railways and benefit Pakistan Railways.”
He said that the work of governments is not to run institutions but governance. Governments will keep coming and going, Pakistan is standing at the crossroads where they are trying to save each other. Looking at the situation of foreign exchange reserves, we have set priorities in which the import of food and medicines has been given first priority. There is full hope that an agreement will be reached with the IMF this month and these difficulties will be resolved.
PM Sharif further added that, “The coalition government is trying day and night to get the country out of difficulties, Khawaja Saad Rafique believes in the supremacy of merit, Railways are facing difficulties like degraders, difficulties keep coming in the lives of nations. Nations move forward by facing them. Let’s progress is the vision of this combined government, and it is fully implemented. ML-one is one of our priority agenda. The Chinese government is determined to push this project forward rapidly.”
At the same time, he added that, “The baseless accusations of institutions and corruption allegations on Chinese companies in the previous government caused pain and torture to Chinese authorities, on the recent visit to China, China gave us a warm and warm welcome, Chinese claim and people love Pakistan dearly, past It is not an easy task to bring back the relationships that were hurt in four years, however the ice is melting, thankful to the Chinese government and the people that they have immense love for the Pakistani people, we need to stand on our feet this way We have to change, hard work has to be made our motto, how long will we be dependent on others. This journey is certainly difficult, but we will work hard day and night to move the country forward and the country will regain its lost position.”
