The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif on Friday has reached Ankara Airport in Turkey. The following visit came during the two-day official visit of PM Sharif to Turkey. It is to be noted that top officials of the Foreign Ministry of Tukey, along with the Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey as well as top diplomatic officials have reached Ankara Airport to welcome PM Sharif.
The official visit of PM Sharif came after the invitation of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It is to be mentioned that President Erdogan extended invitation to PM Sharif for inviting him to attend his swearing in ceremony for the re-election in his recent presidential elections.
On Friday, PM Sharif took it to his official social media handle to share the details of his visit to Turkey, adding that, “Leaving for Türkiye today at the invitation of my brother, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to attend his swearing-in ceremony.”
Along with this, PM Sharif also extended the warm greetings to President Erdogan on the behalf of the government as well as the people of Pakistan on his re-election as the President of Turkiye. PM Sharif added that, “The fraternal ties between Pakistan and Türkiye are set to deepen further in line with our shared resolve and common destiny.”
At the same time, PM Sharif added that, “The upcoming 7th Meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Islamabad will provide the right avenue to take the momentum of our strategic partnership forward. We have yet to unlock the potential of our multifaceted relationship and efforts are being made in that direction.”
Considerably, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif will likely to hold meeting with the Turkish investors as well as the business community in Turkey.
Notably, it is also expected that the visit of Prime Minister Sharif will be playing a vital role in bolstering the relations between Pakistan and Turkiye.
