The Prime Minister of Pakistan, on Tuesday, held a meeting with the government’s officials on how to protect poor people from getting affected by the growing inflation. During the meeting, they have made several decisions.
It is to be noted that, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given approval to the decision to provide free flour to poor families under the Ramadan package.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s big decision to protect the poor people from inflation, a big Ramadan package prepared for the poor people suffering from inflation. On the special instruction of the Prime Minister, a package of free flour was prepared, which is the first of its kind, in the first phase of which, the low-income families in Punjab province will be provided free flour under a special Ramadan package.
PM Sharif took it to his official social media handle to share the above-said information, adding that, ” Finalised Ramzan package today prepared by the government of Punjab on my directions. Under the package, the poorest of the poor families will be given free of cost flour. Federal govt would work with other provinces to launch same schemes for the benefit of people affected by inflation.”
In a review meeting on the supply of free flour under the Ramadan package in Punjab chaired by the Prime Minister, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif directed low-income families to complete a comprehensive strategy on the supply of flour under the Ramadan Package as soon as possible in Punjab, and also said that the month of Ramadan Maximum relief should be given to those who are fasting in the country. The federation will provide all possible cooperation to the provinces to provide a Ramadan package to the poor people across the country in the style of the Punjab model.
On this occasion, Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman and Secretary Finance Mujahid Sher Dil briefed the Prime Minister regarding the Ramadan package.
In addition to Secretary Food and other top officials, the Supervisor Chief Minister of Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, the Secretary Food and other senior officials also attended the meeting.
