The Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar ul Haq Kakar has expressed congratulations to the people of Turkey on their Turkey’s Centenary Republic Day. The details about the above mentioned has been shared by the Caretaker PM Kakar over his official social media handle.
While taking it to his official social media, PM Kakar said that, “On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, I offer my heartiest congratulations to the people of our brother country Turkey on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of the Republic Day of Turkey.”
Along with this, he has also shared note on the history of Turkey. Noting to which, PM Kakar shared that, “On October 29, 1923, the struggle for independence under the leadership of the great leader of the Turkish nation, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, succeeded in establishing the Republic of Turkey. The unshakable determination and courage of the Turkish nation for its freedom is still an inspiring example for freedom-loving people around the world.”
PM Kakar, in his social media post, has emphasized how Turkey has crossed the milestones of development in every sphere of life. Noting to which, PM Kakar, said that, “Under the unprecedented leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkey’s role in achieving the goals of economic development and mutual peace and prosperity has been recognized globally.”
Moreover, he has also expressed support on behalf of the people of Pakistan, extending that, “Pakistan Turkish fraternal ties are mainly based on the strong foundations of common faith, solidarity and history. It is a source of great satisfaction that our mutual ties are getting stronger and stronger with each passing day.”
Along with this, PM Kakar in his message has also shed light on the past happenings during which both the nations of Pakistan and Turkey held each other, including the February 2023 earthquake in Turkey, the 2010 and 2022 floods in Pakistan or the 2005 earthquake.
He further recalled the determination of Pakistan to boost the multi-faceted strategic ties with Turkey, mainly in the field of economy.
Considering this, PM Kakar said that the government of Pakistan is taking firm steps in this direction, adding that, “The Trade in Goods Agreement (TGA) and the Strategic Economic Framework (SEF) are the links in the same chain.”
