The Interim Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar ul Haq Kakar, has extended sorrow over the recent earthquake which has caused massive destruction in the Herat region of Afghanistan. He took it to his official social media handle to express solidarity with the people of Afghanistan as well as those who have been affected by the earthquake.
While expressing the sorrow and solidarity with those affected by the recent earthquake in Afghanistan, the Interim Prime Minister Kakar said that, “Deeply saddened by the devastating earthquake in Herat, Afghanistan. Our hearts go out to the affected communities. We stand in solidarity with the Afghans during this difficult time.”
It is to be noted that, the Interim Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar ul Haq Kakar has further instructed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of Pakistan, which is serving as the lead agency to deal with the whole spectrum of disaster management activities, to extend the maximum support to those affected.
Noting to which, the Interim Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar ul Haq Kakar, stated that, “I have instructed @NDMAPk to send maximum support to the affected.”
While taking it to his official social media handle to share the update, the Interim Prime Minister has specifically mentioned about the things that, the government of Afghanistan has asked in assistance from the Pakistani government.
Mentioning which, the Interim Prime Minister of Pakistan, in the social media post, added that, “Afghanistan government has specifically asked for sending medical team, field hospital, 50 tents and 500 blankets. On my instructions—in addition to the relief goods—all the requested items are being dispatched in the afternoon today, with more relief goods to follow.”
It is to be added that, the recent natural calamity in Afghanistan has claimed over 2,400 lives. The following data has been shard by the Taliban government, as the rescue operation is going on to search for the survivors and those who are still trapped under the debris.
