The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan on Tuesday has released an update regarding Foreign Affairs Minister, Bilawal Bhutto’s visit to Indonesia as well as Singapore from 7 to 9 December 2022.
The following visit will be an official visit. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has further released details about the visit, which reads that, Bilawal Bhutto would hold a bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi in Bali.
Moreover, Minister Bhutto will also take participation in two multilateral events, which are as follows,
- 15th Bali Democracy Forum
- International Conference on Afghan Women’s Education.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs further issued details about the visit of Minister Bilawal Bhutto, which are as follows, “During the 15th Bali Democracy Forum, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bilawal Bhutto will highlight the commitment of Pakistan to democratic values and moreover the significance of democracy in reply to modern day challenges.
Meanwhile, at the International Conference on Afghan Women’s Education, Minister Bhutto will further emphasize on the efforts of Pakistan for lasting peace as well as the development in Afghanistan, along with the significance of equal access to education for all segments of society.
Furthermore, the Foreign Minister will also be going to hold a meeting with the Foreign Minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan & will also call on the President Halimah Yacob. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has further detailed about the visit, adding that FM Bhutto will hold a discussion on a wide spectrum of bilateral relations between both the nations during the meeting.
At the same time, the Foreign Minister’s visit to Indonesia and Singapore is a clear reflection of the high priority that the Foreign Ministry and Pakistan accord to its relations with the ASEAN nations as well as its commitment to empowering further the bilateral ties with both countries Indonesia along with Singapore in all areas of mutual interests.
