The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit to host the press conference on Monday, January 16, 2023, at the Finance Ministry Conference Room. The conference will begin at around 10 AM. Following which, PM Skerrit asked the people to tune in for an update on the matters of national significance.
The conference will feature a discussion on several matters of concern. PM Skerrit to provide an update on the new steps of the government of Dominica. He will talk about the series of new steps which will be implemented in the coming times.
PM Skerrit took it to the social media and also invited the people to join the press conference. He mentioned, “Greetings, I invite you to tune in for an update on matters of national significance.”
Prime minister Skerrit added that the Minister for National Security and Legal Affairs, Rayburn Blackmoore, will also going to provide an update on the E-Passport and the E-Passport Issuing System.
During the conference, he will also share every required detail regarding the E-Passport and the E-Passport issuing system of Dominica.
Meanwhile, Skerrit will also highlight the common issues rising in terms of financial aspects of Dominica and also likely to make an announcement on the steps for bolstering the economy. The updates related to travel will also likely to be the subject for the talks during the press conference.
At the same time, it is also hoped that the press conference by PM Skerrit will also put light upon the 18 housing units distributed by Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit in Bataca and Sineku past week. He would also talk about the housing units constructed under climate-resilient housing revolution steps. Prime Minister Skerrit along with Melissa Skerrit has distributed keys of 18 housing units to the families who have lost their homes to the natural disaster led by Hurricane Maria.
