St Kitts and Nevis: Denzil Douglas- Minister of Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis, extended greetings to the organizers for successfully hosting the first annual Shark Festival at Dieppe Bay Beach.
He took to Facebook and shared glimpses of the festival. Denzil Douglas, the organizers and members of The Capisterre Fisherman Marketing and Supplies Cooperative Society, for making great efforts to successfully host the first annual Shark Festival in St Kitts and Nevis.
He said that the festival was hosted at Dieppe Bay Beach, which is the future location of a Modern Marina and Fisheries Complex.
Denzil Douglas said, “Kudos to the organizers and members of The Capisterre Fishermen Marketing and Supplies Cooperative Society for hosting the first annual Shark Festival at the Dieppe Bay Beach, the future location of a Modern Marina and Fisheries Complex.”
Denzil Douglas also extended gratitude to the visitors who arrived at the festival. He said that the visitors gave huge support to the festival as there was alternative entertainment taking place at Warner Park, where the CPL Games were being played.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also extended gratitude to the sponsors of the festival. He said, “We thank the hundreds who turned out and gave their support despite the alternative entertainment at Warner Park where the CPL Games of the SKN Patriots were being played.”

He also lauded the Dieppe Bay Fishermen Cooperative for hosting Shark Fest 2023. He said that the festival brings the fishery community together to celebrate their day.
The celebration was exciting, interesting and fun-filled as it offered the chance for the fishermen to explore new opportunities in the industry.
