Following the assassination attempt on the former Prime minister of Pakistan,
Imran Khan, during his long march, which left him with a bullet wound on his leg, protests have been erupted across major cities of Pakistan.
Even, protests are going on around Sialkot as well, noting which, information has been shared by Ex-Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar about the ongoing protests, “عمران خان پر قاتلانہ حملے کے بعد سیالکوٹ کی تمام بڑی شاہراہوں کو بند کردیا گیا ہے! داخلی اور خارجی تمام رستے بند!” Which reads, “After the assassination attack on Imran Khan, all major highways of Sialkot have been closed! All internal and external roads closed!”
Not just roads, but all other streets have also been closed, and it has led to bringing the situation of almost a lockdown alike.
Alongside this, Usman Dar has also shared another tweet along with a video as well, which reads, “چیئرمین عمران خان پر قاتلانہ حملے کے خلاف سیالکوٹ کی تمام شاہراہوں پر احتجاج جاری۔ #SialkotLockdown”, which means, “Protests continue on all highways of Sialkot against the assassination attack on Chairman Imran Khan #SialkotLockdown.”
Meanwhile, one of the among victims, who have actually victimised the situation around Sialkot, said that, “Bhai I was actually in Sialkot at that time and it took main 8 hours to reach Lahore….. Everywhere in Sialkot there as huge number of protesters which I witnessed…”
