A Florida man was captured Tuesday following an 11-year-old young lady retaliated during an endeavored seizing and ran away to security Tuesday morning, the Escambia County sheriff said.
“She battled, and she never surrendered,” Sheriff Chip Simmons said at a news meeting.
Jared Paul Stanga, 30, deals with indictments of endeavored hijacking of a kid, bothered threatening behavior. The sheriff said he had an item accepted to have been a blade.
The endeavored snatching at 7 a.m. at a bus station was caught on home reconnaissance video that aided lead specialists to Stanga’s home, where he was captured, Simmons said.
“This seldom infrequently occurs,” Simmons said. “… At the point when I saw the video, I was recently stunned that this occurred here in Escambia County.”
It was not promptly clear if Stanga had a lawyer late Tuesday.
Simmons said the young lady did everything directly by battling with the supposed abductor and afterward racing to disclose to her folks, who called law implementation.
The young lady was supposed to approve of minor scratches and some psychological injury.
The video shows a man running toward her and attempting to convey her back toward the vehicle before he staggers and runs off without her.
The young lady was playing with a “blue sludge” toy when the endeavored snatching happened, and when delegates captured the man, he had a blue substance on his arms, the sheriff said.
A chrome guard on the vehicle had been painted dark, Simmons said, obviously with an end goal to change its appearance after a portrayal that incorporated that guard was given out.
The young lady said that fourteen days prior a similar white vehicle moved toward her and the driver attempted to talk with her. She announced that occurrence to her folks and school head.
