The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, held the meeting with the Economic team, which was led by the Finance Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar. During the meeting, PM Sharif held talks with the Economic Team led by the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, as well as held discussions on the economic condition of the country.
It is to be noted that, during the meeting, the Economic Team has presented the Economic Survey for the financial year 2022-23 to PM Sharif. While hearing to the Economic survey and other reforms, PM Sharif had also appreciated the efforts of the economic team for the stability as well as the development of the economy of the Pakistan as a nation during the past one year.
While extending the appreciations, PM Sharif has added that, “Despite the growing economic challenges and other threats including the historical floods left by the past government, the efforts of the economic team for the nations’ economy are commendable.”
It is undeniable fact that, during the past years, the economy of Pakistan has been severely affected du to the floods and other things, which has not just affected the entire economy of Pakistan, but also the buying capacity of the people of Pakistan.
At the same time, while considering the Economic Survey for the financial year 2022-23, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, added that, “Small farmers around Pakistan will be equipped with the high quality of seeds as well as the automated agricultural machinery.”
Along with this, PM Sharif further added that, “The program of the interest-free loans for the small farmers should be extended in the upcoming budget.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that, “The government of Pakistan will also reward the farmers who get the highest production per acre.”
Federal Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar, Minister of State Dr. Ayesha Ghos Pasha, Special Assistants Tariq Bajwa, Tariq Pasha and officials of the Ministry of Finance participated in the meeting.
