Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, while talking to the members and officers of the Pakistani delegation in Geneva congratulated ‘Team Pakistan’ on the success of the Resilient Pakistan World Conference.
He said that, “thanks be to Allah that the fruits of hard work day and night came out in the last conference and the world saw that 9 billion dollars were announced, this is a historic success, it is your honest efforts to achieve your goals. This is the result and it is a proof of your hard work, your sincerity towards Pakistan, last day was a historic day not only for the government of Pakistan but also for 22 crore people, how team Pakistan worked for the betterment of its people and solving problems. Completed this task.”
The Prime Minister said that, “we also encouraged the provinces and asked them to accompany us in this conference and put their case before the world there, thus the world saw a unity and national unity there, credit for this success. Badrja aap sara hai, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his team performed full responsibilities, Foreign Ministry played an important role in drawing the attention of the world to the flood victims, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Economic Affairs Minister Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. Minister of Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of Climate Change Sherry Rehman and Minister of Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb made great efforts. Work done, foreign secretary, ambassadors and other diplomats all worked hard day and night, I thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart on behalf of the people & government of Pakistan.”
He said that, “the real challenge is to implement these announcements and promises, to implement these projects we have to increase our capacity, use our technical expertise and provide the technical support required for this. In order to finalize these declarations and commitments, this step is very important.”
