Pakistan has expressed condemnation on the horrific terrorist attack, which took place in the capital city of Turkiye, in Ankara, on Sunday. It is to be noted that the condemnation on the above mentioned incident has been expressed by the Interim Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar ul Haq Kakar.
Notably, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwar ul Haq Kakar, took it to his official social media handle, to express the sorrow over the terrorist attack happened in Ankara. Interim Prime Minister has also expressed support with the Turkish people in this hour.
Mentioning about the above added, Interim PM Anwar ul Haq Kakar, said that, “Pakistan strongly condemns the dastardly terrorist attack in Ankara today. We stand in complete solidarity with our Turkish brothers and sisters in the fight against the scourge of terrorism. I have no doubt that under the dynamic leadership of my brother Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the resolute Turkish nation will emerge ever stronger from this challenge.”
The information about the attack has been shared by the Interior Ministry of Turkiye. The ministry added that, “two attackers have arrived in the commercial vehicle at around 9:30 am in front of the entrance gate of the General Director of the Security of Ministry of Interior, and carried out the bomb attack. One of the terrorist has blown himself up and the other was neutralized”
It is to be specifically mentioned that, the area that was the target of the terrorist attack is home to numerous other ministries and the parliament of Turkiye, which was due to reopen with an address from the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor office of the capital city of Ankara has stated to open up the investigation into the terrorist attack case and also restricted the access to the area.
Notably, nobody has immediately claimed the responsibility for the attack.
