An agent for Mike Mitchell notified TMZ he expired on Friday while on a cruiser in Turkey. His household said his demise was due to natural reasons but didn’t give any extra details. In an announcement, Mitchell’s agent recalled him as an entertainer, colleague and “truthful person.”
“It was extremely difficult to understand… The abrupt demise of a global entertainer we oversaw, a credible individual, a substantial performer, a genuine colleague, my beloved pal, has pained us deeply. I’ve always been honoured to be your administrator. I wish forbearance to your spouse, dear Denise Mitchell, and your kids,” his agent said to the forum. “Getting to remember you and attaining your friendship is worthwhile. Sleep in the lights. RIP.”
Mitchell got his beginning as a bodybuilder. The Scottish performer was a five-time World Fitness Federation (WFF) winner and a two-time champion of Mr Universe, according to his site. He would proceed to showcase his tremendous courage on the big screen. In addition to featuring in Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator” in 2000, he also executed stunts in “Braveheart” showing Mel Gibson and appeared in the films “One Day Removals,” “City of Hell,” “Skyfall” and “Emmerdale,” among others.
TMZ disclosed that Mitchell endured a heart attack in 2006 after earning his fifth WWF crown. He was also liked sailing and when he lived on a film set, he was a captain who admired taking tourists to the ocean on a boat that he inhabited.
As for performing, he got a massive break in 1994 that has the colours of Arnold Schwarzenegger. He got cast in “Braveheart” because of his bodily existence. He moved on to come out in “Gladiator,” “The Planet,” “One Day Removals,” “City of Hell,” “Life on the Line” and “Emmerdale.”
He was best remembered for his high-profile first achievements, comprising tough-guy portions in Mel Gibson’s ancient ode Braveheart and Ridley Scott’s Oscar-winner Braveheart.
