Web Desk: Three Indian soldiers killed in result of an attack on army camp in Akhnoor district of Indian Occupied Kashmir, reported 24 News.
According to details two to three gunmen sneaked into the camp in Battal village around 1 am and opened fire killing the security personnel. “Cross firing between attackers and army is still underway, ” reports stated.
Indian Army has started a search operation as the whole area has been cordoned off and high alert is being issued in the valley.
Indian media has alleged that attackers infiltrated from across the border for the assault.
The attacks on Indian army escalated after the killing of Burhan Wani, a freedom fighter of Jammu Kashmir.
In last weeks of November seven Indian soldiers including two majors were killed after the attackers entered into army’s camp in Nagrota.
Earlier, 19 Indian Army personnel killed after army base in Uri came under assault.
India has put the blame of these attacks on Pakistan without presenting any proofs or evidences regarding its claim. Since the Uri attack the relationship between both states have become critically hostile and the cross border firing continued regularly in last months of 2016.
Pakistan did offer the talks on numbers of time for the resolution of all conflicts but Indian government has not responded positively.
