Web Desk (KARACHI) — 6.6 magnitude earthquake hit the coastal areas of Gwadar, Pasni, Turbat and surrounding areas on Wednesday. Damage to a multitude of buildings has been reported by 24 News HD.
According to Seismological Center, 6.6 magnitude has been recorded on Richter scale. The origin of earthquake has been identified to be 30 KM off south-west of Pasni while its depth has been reported to be 10 KM deep.
Significant damage to buildings and structures has been reported. Red alert has been issued for coastal areas of Balouchistan. Rescue personnel have been dispatched to the affected areas.
