WEB DESK: Chief Selector Inzama-ul-haq has decided to dismiss the central contract of Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad while reviewing to cancel central contract of ‘Boom Boom’ Afridi too.
Chief Selector Inzama-ul-haq has seriously decided not to give more chances to non-serious and indisciplined players in the national cricket team and to stamp his words, Inzamam has taken this decision of dismissing ineligible and indisciplined players from Pakistan cricket team who are no longer required in the team on the basis of their poor performance and over all notorious image.
According to the details, selection committee is reviewing to end Shahid Afridi’s central contract who gets 4.5 lacs monthly from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Besides Afridi, Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal are also said to be in this list as both of them have returned to domestic cricket for now and have defamed Pakistan by their notorious image and for being scandalous every now and then.
Meanwhile star spinner Saeed Ajmal is also likely to be deprived of the central contract because after changing bowling action he couldn’t manage to make his place international cricket but still receiving 4.5 lacs monthly.
On the other hand Mohammad Amir will be given one year central contract for the first time after six long years.
New list of central contract going to 28 players is reported to be released next week.
