Web Desk (24 News) — Bangladesh batsmen struck Pakistani batsmen for 318 inside 47 overs after winning the toss in the first-warmup at Birmingham on Saturday, reports 24 News HD.
Pakistani bowlers proved expensive in the first outing of Champions Trophy 2017 as 4 bowlers including Junaid Khan, Wahab Riaz, Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim went for more than run-a-ball. Riaz conceded as much 66 runs in 9 overs.
On Bangladeshi side, Tamim Iqbal top scored with 102 runs off 93 balls. Imrul Kayes also made a quick half century (61 runs off 62 balls).
According to reports, Pakistani squad includes Ahmed Shehzad, Azhar Ali, Babar Azam, Fahim Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Hasan Ali, Imad Wasim, Junaid Khan, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Hafeez, Sarfraz Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Shoaib Malik and Wahab Riaz.
