Web Desk (24 News) — Afghan forces on Friday attacked a checkpost in Khurram Agency, injuring 2 Frontier Corps (FC) personnel. Chaman Border remained closed for 8th day consecutively due to heightened tension, reports 24 News HD.
According to details, Chaman border ‘Bab-e-Dosti’ has been closed yet again due to unprovoked aggression by Afghans. Diplomatic efforts are underway to diffuse the tensions, it is learnt.
As per Chaman Chamber of Commerce, orders had been given to open Chaman border on night of May 8. Due to the attack in the morning, however, the orders were cancelled said the chamber.
Afghans attacked on FC checkpost in Khurram Agency, injuring 2 FC personnel. The injured have been identified as Luqman Haider and Sulaiman. FC has given the attackers befittingly reply, as per sources.
