Web Desk (24 News) — 4 people including 3 Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officials were injured after a roadside improvised explosive device (IED) blew on Monday in Peshawar, reports 24 News HD.
According to report, a CTD vehicle was targeted by an IED at Khatko bridge, resulting in injury of 3 CTD personnel and 1 passerby. Injured personnel have been identified as Akbar Ali, Israr and Nizar.
As per sources, the CTD vehicle was carrying personnel to a girls school in Urmar village Shamshato Road, where 2 IEDs had been spotted. 1 IED had been defused while other had blasted without inflicting casualties. Police has started investigations into the matter.
