Islamabad (24 News): The State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb has said that ‘all allegations against the Prime Minister have been proven false’, when she addressed the media after the Panama Case decision was announced today, 24 News HD reports.
According to sources, Maryam Aurangzeb said that the historic decision by the Supreme Court (SC) indicates the truth about corruption in Pakistan.
‘The baseless allegations of corruption by the PTI and its affiliates on the PM have been falsified. The PM set a historic precedent by putting 3 generations of his family under the scrutiny of the SC.’ – Maryam Aurangzeb
It should be noted that the decision was dissented by 2 judges of the 5 member panel. The SC has declared that further investigation is required into the Qatari letter submitted by the PM in the court as evidence.
