Karachi (24 News): The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) have been closely observing the deliberations of the Panama Case, reports 24 News HD.
According to sources, the Panama Papers case is under observation by both the MQM and PSP in Karachi. Both parties have different manifestos and agenda’s, but are keenly observing the deliberations of the Panama case and its possible impact on Karachi.
Whatever the decision of the Panama case is, the effects will be far – reaching. – PSP Leader Anis Qaimkhani
The PSP leadership had called for a party meeting on Thursday in order to discuss the possible outcomes of the Panama Case.
Elsewhere in Karachi, the MQM under the leadership of Dr. Farooq Sattar held a party meeting as well, in order to devise a strategy for the possible deterioration of security in the country as a result of the Panama decision which is due on Friday.
It should be noted that both parties have been trying to reinvent themselves after boycotting Altaf Hussain and his affiliates, and the vacuum of popular support that can apparently ensue after the Panama Case decision can provide them with such an opportunity.
