Islamabad (24 News): The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) is holding a high-level conference in order to address issues of national importance in the federal capital today, reports 24 News HD.
According to sources, the conference is being chaired by the Chairman of PTI, Imran Khan. The conference is being attended by party leadership from Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.

The leadership exchanged detailed views about the current situation of the country and expressed concern about the outcome of the expected Panama Case verdict as well.

The conference was also equivocal in condemning the increased instances of unannounced load-shedding across the country, and called out the govt on its unfulfilled promises.
The conference also announced the inauguration of a nation-wide movement by the PTI to protest unannounced load-shedding schedules and the apathy of the govt regarding the suffering of the general public.

Sources also reported strong condemnation by the PTI leadership of the politicization of Karachi’s security situation, and regretted that political strength was being set as the yardstick for peace in Karachi. The conference also condemned the attempts of the Sindh govt to politicize the powers of Rangers in Karachi as well, calling it a deliberate move to consolidate power ahead of the upcoming general elections.
The conference debated the salient features of the Interior Minister’s recent press conference, and also discussed the instances of large scale money laundering by political leaders.
