Lahore (24 News Exclusive): Indian media personnel have backed out of a scheduled program on 24 News HD in which they were to debate over the facts surrounding the conviction of RAW agent Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case, 24 News HD reports.
According to official news reports, renowned anchor of 24 News HD program Khara Such Mubashir Lucman was scheduled to hold a joint show with Indian media personnel on 17th April. A major Indian media group, India TV agreed to the proposal and had scheduled a 2 hour debate on the Kulbhushan Jadhav conviction. Three analysts and an anchorperson were to argue India’s case, while 3 analysts and Mr. Lucman were to present Pakistan’s evidence against the convicted spy.
After pre-scheduling the program, the Indian media backed out of it at the last minute without citing any reasons for the withdrawal. The action highlights the lack of evidence on part of the Indian media regarding the Kulbhushan Jadhav case, as it was constantly portraying the case in terms of what was being fed to it by notorious Indian Spy agency RAW.
The facts are heavily stacked against the Indian media in this case, as they are unable to answer the simple question as to what a serving Indian Naval officer was doing in Pakistan and why he was in possession of fake identification papers in Balochistan. His activities were indeed of a subversive nature.
Jadhav was convicted of espionage in Pakistan, and was sentenced to death.
The prospect of an open transmission in which to argue the flimsy case of Kulbhushan Jadhav was a little too much for the Indian media to handle as it was to be an evidence based analysis, and they decided not to take part.
