Lahore: Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday while talking to media said that Pakhtuns are our brothers and they have equal right to settle and do business in Punjab. He assured that Punjab government would consider the reservations expressed by the delegation led by Ameer Muqaam, reported 24 News HD.
“It is unfortunate that common citizens are sometimes affected by the ongoing combing and intelligence-based operations that are being conducted under Radd-ul-Fasad in order to search the terrorists. We are sorry but it is necessary and without it we cannot defeat the terrorists. Under the way forward as it was agreed to in today’s meeting, it will be our best effort that respect and privacy of the people is not violated,” he said.
However, Rana Sanaullah condemned that some so-called politicians are trying to gain sympathies of their voters and score political points in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh by inciting hatred against Punjab. He said that all federating units of the country have to fight terrorism together.
In the same vein, PMLN leader Ameer Muqaam said that the fight against terrorism is whole nation’s war and it is condemnable that someone attempts to divert it towards. He added that PMLN is whole country’s political party. He said that voters are looking up to Nawaz Sharif in KP.
