Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Saturday chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad where issues of Panama case and revival of military courts were discussed. He agreed that the apex court verdict in Panama case will be accepted wholeheartedly, reported 24 News HD.
Among others Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, special assistants to PM Barrister Zafarullah and Irfan Siddique, Attorney General (AG) Ashtar Ausaf Ali and others attended in the meeting.
AG Ashtar Ausaf and special assistant Barrister Zafarullah briefed the premier about possible outcome of the Panama case verdict and its legal implications. PM Nawaz Sharif was reported as having said that whatever the outcome of Panama leaks case will be, it should be accepted wholeheartedly. At this moment, the premier lauded the efforts of his legal team for fighting his case.
In addition, the issue of revival of military courts and opposition parties’s concerns were also discussed.
