Web Desk: Suspended batsman Khalid Latif has stated that Allah knows he did nothing wrong and he is not involved in any kind of match fixing, reported 24 News.
While talking to the channel, reporter Khizar Azam told that media was looking for Latif for many days but he was no where to be found. “Our source then give us tip-off that batsman is in Karachi, we went their and waited for him and when he came out, we asked him,” he said.
“In start Latif repeatdly said ‘No Comments’ but just before sitting in his car, he gave the statement that he has done nothing wrong,” reporter added.
According to the sources, Khalid Latif has also started consultation with lawyers regarding the scandal.
Khalid Latif and Sharjeel Khan was temporarily suspended by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after allegedly found involved in spot fixing scandal.
Both batsmen met with a bookie in Dubai and Security In-Charge of PCB caught them.
PCB chairman Shahryar Khan told media that board has strong evidences against them. The statements of both players have been recorded by Anti-Corruption Unit as they accused each other for this mess.
The sources in cricket board have also claimed that both players can face life ban if proven guilty.
