Web Desk (KARACHI) — Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Margaret Adamson, said on Thursday that development in private sector of Pakistan is a welcome development. The High Commissioner said that there is a steady increase in the bilateral trade between the 2 countries, reported 24 News.
According to sources, Margaret Adamson visited Karachi Stock Exchange where she rang the bell in the traditional manner and marked the beginning of day’s trading.
The Australian High Commissioner expressed satisfaction at the at the performance of Karachi Stock Exchange and termed the development of private sector in the country as welcome step. Speaking to the High Commissioner at the event, Managing Director (MD) Karachi Stock Exchange Nadeem Naqvi said that Pakistan would hold roadshows in different countries around the world. This would, he said, help foreign investors to invest in Pakistan.
