Web Desk (KARACHI) — Mayor Karachi and senior leader Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Waseem Akhtar was admitted to hospital due to a heart problem. Doctors have declared Akhtar to be fit for discharge on Wednesday, reported 24 News.
Mayor has been discharged, faces no immediate danger: Doctors
According to sources, Mayor Karachi had earlier been admitted to hospital due to slight heart pain. After going rigorous medical checkup including angiography, the mayor has been discharged and sent to home.
As per hospital sources, Waseem Akhtar’s blood pressure was high for which ECG was conducted. The doctors have assured that Akhtar’s condition is out of danger and he faces no immediate danger.
